Directive 2009/123/EC of the European Parliament and European Council of 21 October 2009 amending Directive 2005/35/EC on ship-source pollution and on the introduction of penalties for infringements (Text with EEA relevance)

Description

The provisions of Directive 2009/123/EC lay down amendments and addenda to Directive 2005/35/EC, firstly by widening its scope, which hereinafter includes also penalties for criminal offences. Such penalties cover offences committed by natural persons and legal persons. This Directive is implemented by the Act on Prevention of Marine Pollution by Vessels.
