Description
Since the industrial revolution the geopolitics of energy – who supplies it, and securing reliable access to those supplies – have been a driving factor in global prosperity and security. Over the coming decades, energy politics will determine the survival of the planet.
If (the right) actions are taken now, we stand a chance to get the geopolitics of energy to move the international community toward constructive long-term outcomes. If not, we will allow the geopolitics of energy to make all nations less secure, and bring into question the very viability of our future.
